The Washe sound is based on the origin of ancient instruments, acquired through travel, closeness with anthropologists and researchers, acquisition of books and sound design, experimenting with the design of instruments inspired by the originals and replicating their sound, but adapting them to contemporary sound scales with traditional elements in the musical genre or everyday implements.

During more than 10 years of work, a series of acoustic and electro-acoustic sound experiments has been generated in the areas of ideophones, membranophones, chordophones and aerophones in ancient and contemporary instruments.

These instruments have been worked in a segmented way, respecting the sound, ideology and execution technique of each indigenous people.

Through the experience and knowledge of ancestral traditions, the experience is completed by setting with electroacoustic processes, musical passages that represent these sounds and the feelings of the indigenous community in Venezuela.
